I was just thinking about how QPR being ran by well-meaning idiots rather than mean spirited ones is a bit like a crap Christmas.  It’s a bit like coming down for your presents and your mum giving you a U2 album because she knows “you like music”.  You know she means well and it seems kind of churlish to have a go because after all, she tried to make you happy.  And you know some prick at HMV said “oh yes, he’d love that” and coaxed her along - conveniently ignoring the fact that the CD is worn, badly scratched and very, very over-priced.  But it doesn’t change the fact that you’re left with fucking Bono to listen to.

That’s kind of how the last two years following QPR have felt like - with Tony Fernandes being my fictional mum and the HMV Saturday staff role being maintained by Mark Hughes, Kia Joorabchian and Harry Redknapp.

I’m drunk.
