Japan purchases!
For my own benefit as much as anything I wanted to document most of the records and gaming stuff I picked up in Japan for the sake of memories. Tokyo, where most of this stuff was purchased, apparently has the highest density of record stores in the world so I went a bit silly. All of the gaming stuff was purchased at Super Potato - lifelong dream to go there. There are some other bits and bobs too. Maybe some of you music and gaming nerds will get a kick out of it, I dunno, but indulge me. There’s some nice emo and punk bits in here. Was also a really nice surprise to see my old band What Price, Wonderland? having records in lots of the stores (and not in the bargain bin for once!).

Disconnect - Thrift Store Gem
This track is off Disconnect’s self-titled LP which was released, I think, in 2005 or 2006 on Spacement Records in Reno, Nevada. I remember buying it on impulse from SNCL in 2006.
This is quite a difficult band to describe. Melodic hardcore-punk with a big chunk of 90s emo in there. Twangy bass and a nervous energy that brings to mind bands like Fanshen, Salvo Rain, maybe Universal of Armageddon. But a bit sassier. This tune is one of the more ;straight up; ones.
Anyway, thought I’d share. Let me know if any punx want an upload of the LP.
